Visa information for Turkish participants
- Turkish participants must come in contact with the Cyprus Embassy in Athens in order to apply for an entry visa (There is no Embassy of Cyprus in Turkey. You must to travel to the nearest country which is in Athens).
- Holders of Turkish passports (all types, regular, diplomatic, special or service) need a visa to enter the Republic of Cyprus. An entry visa may only be obtained by the applicant in person at the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Athens (not at the airport). Applicants must first send their applications with all necessary documentation to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Cyprus (by email, fax or post) at least 10 working days prior to their visit to Cyprus for a Visa Pre-Approval.
After a Visa Pre-Approval is granted, applicants must submit their applications in person at the Embassy of Cyprus, Xenofontos 2A, Athens, Greece

- Caution: Applicants coming from Turkey usually arrive in Athens for their visa issuance one day in advance and depart for Cyprus the same or the following day. Applicants must make sure that a Visa Pre-approval has been granted in advance before visiting the Embassy of Cyprus in person for their visa issuance.
- Turkish participants must travel to Cyprus either via Larnaca or Paphos airports otherwise entrance will not be allowed.
